Don’t miss this summer concert with the Opera San Luis Obispo performing the music of Broadway (and more) in a beautiful seaside location.  Pack a lunch and picnic by the ocean at this gorgeous 1930’s English Tudor mansion and gardens on the cliffs in Shell Beach. Open for picnics at 2:30pm, concert at 4 pm. Limited seating! Reserve early.

Join us this Saturday, July 31st in Pismo Beach for the Stride with the Tide 5K Fun Run!  

Race: starts at 8:30am Rain or Shine. The course is out and back on the sand starting at the Pismo Beach Pier. Walkers are welcome.
Registration: 7:30 am - 8:15 am at the pier on race day. No pre-registration.
Checks: payable to the City of Pismo Beach.
Entry Fee: $15 with shirt, $10 without shirt. T-shirts will be available to the first 100 entrants who request them. Shirt size will be accommodated in order of entry.
Awards: medals for the top three places in 10 age divisions.
Conducted: by the San Luis Distance Club www.sldc.org

4^th of July Celebration on the Pier - Pismo Beach

Come celebrate our Nation’s Independence with live entertainment including military bands, food, clowns and an extravagant Firework Show from our world famous Pismo Beach Pier!

First-time surfers

Dana Cummings started an organization to help people focus on their abilities, not their disabilities, through surfing. He works with people with disabilities and veterans. Each year they come to Pismo Beach for the ultimate experience of catching a wave for the first time.  CNN covered the story in the video below.
